It should be fun.<br />From you map I see that you are covering a lot of the same ground we did in 2008 - but we turned South earlier in order to see South Dakota. <br />If you drive through the upper Peninsula in Michigan you can see some of the Great Lakes. <br />You'll pass right by Darwin MN where the largest ball of twine made by just one man lives. The whole town has a "Ball of Twine" theme to it. <br />Don't miss the cheese curds in Wisconsin. They are not very flavorful but are interesting. <br />It's possible you'll see some of the motorcycles heading to or from the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Our trip was just about the same time. We had decided we'd count the motorcycles.
